Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), visited Carangsari Tourism Village in Badung Regency


Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), visited Carangsari Tourism Village in Badung Regency as part of the  Indonesian Tourism Villages Award (ADWI) 2021, also attended by Deputy Governor of Bali Province Dr. Ir. Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati, M.Si, Head of the Bali Province Tourism Office, Ir. I Putu Astawa, M. MA,  Regional Secretary of Badung Regency I Wayan Adi Arnawa, SH, Acting Head of the Badung Regency Tourism Office, Cokorda Raka Darmawan, SH, M.Si, Chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association of Badung Regency IGN Rai Suryawijaya, SE, MBA, Chairman of the Bali Recreation Business Association I Gusti Ayu Agung Inda Trimafo Yudha. 

 

During his visit, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy congratulated Carangsari Tourism Village on being selected as one of the top 50 tourism villages in Indonesia for the Indonesian Tourism Villages Award (ADWI) 2021. ADWI 2021 is a tourism villages award organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf). Carangsari Tourism Village has met 7 assessment categories such as the application of CHSE, digital villages, souvenirs, tourist attractions (natural, cultural, artificial), creative content, lodging or homestays and toilets.

 

Previously, direct evaluation and assessment already been completed by jury, Professor Azril Azahari Chair of the Indonesian Tourism Intellectuals Association and Mrs. Handayani, Consumer Director of Bank Rakyat Indonesia. The jury went to tourist attractions, the Topeng Tugek, Puri Agung Carangsari, Karang Buncing Padukuhan, Beji Samuan Park, Alam Tirta Rafting, Puseh Kangin Temple, Sinar Urip Church, True Bali Experience, Kampung Nyame Toko, Coffee Factory Pure Bali Coffee, and other attractions that are the Carangsari Tourism Village's leading potentials
