Badung International Art Carnival

The beauty and wealth of marine’s life become the main elements of Badung International Art Carnival. As the grand opening of Maritime and Culture Festival in 2018, BIAC has a charm of Indonesian archipelago introducing Balinese culture and tradition. The art carnival was firstly held in 2018 and displayed about 150 carnival costumes throughout regions and countries, including Malaysia, Banyuwangi, Jember, Malang, Cirebon, Salatiga, Palu, Gorontalo, and Kediri. As the forerunner of the annual agenda of Badung Regency, BIAC will be held on June 30th, 2019 at Dewi Street, Kuta Bali.


The event features colossal fisherman dance is presented by junior high school students throughout South Kuta, Bebarungan drum attraction “Ketug Gumi” from Indonesia Art Institute, ISI Denpasar performed by hundreds of kendang players. The parade is started with decorating vehicles entitled Sea and its creatures.  Tourist can enjoy the carnival parade and take pictures with the participants who wear unique and beautiful typical carnival costumes of the Indonesian archipelago, especially Bali.
