Baha Village is one of the bases of freedom fighters in Bali. Since 1992, this village declared a tourist village with various tourism potentials, located in District Mengwi, Badung Regency. The distance is about 30 km or 60 minutes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.
The large rice field keeps the traditional irrigation system, called “Subak.” Subak Community in this village has a meeting room called Balai Subak Lepud, used as a meeting place and various ceremonies related to agriculture. The homes with their traditional architecture of residents in the Baha village is quite interesting object for tourists interest who visit it, especially for the observers of architecture and landscape.
The Baha Village has a Cak Group that consists of men and women, Legong performance and fishing ground. Villages that can be categorized as old communities are usually rich with craft activities, such as carvings, rattan, Hindu religious ceremonies, and other domestic industries.
